Be part of the EXCITEMENT!
We have gratefully received a once in a lifetime generous gift from author philanthropist Mackenzie Scott. This is a game changer for our mission of providing affordable, safe housing for those in our community.
Did you know that you could help us to double our impact here in Muscogee County, and now Talbot County, too! With your continued support we can increase our program services with this wonderful gift.
But we need you too!
Share in our excitement and Ms. Scott's passion for those across our country who struggle to have a decent place to call home.
Please make a donation to our Capital Campaign and it will be matched up to $5,000.
A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Our Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Founded in 1984 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, Columbus Area Habitat for Humanity (CAHFH) built its first house in 1987. CAHFH has continued to build, renovate and repair more than 375 homes in the Columbus area! Our efforts have assisted deserving families by creating affordable and safe housing. Over the years, CAHFH has been blessed to partner with people of compassion who have provided the financial and time resources necessary to carry out our mission.
With over 37 years now of working to address issues through the creation of new and maintaining currently owned housing, CAHFH will continue to address the needs of families to enrich their lives and improve the standard of living in our community.
