Our Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Founded in 1984 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, Columbus Area Habitat for Humanity (CAHFH) built its first house in 1987. CAHFH has continued to build and renovate more than 300 homes in Columbus! Our efforts have assisted deserving families by creating affordable housing. Over the years, CAHFH has been blessed to partner with people of compassion who have provided the financial and time resources necessary to carry out our mission of creating affordable housing for deserving families. Columbus Area Habitat for Humanity has built and renovated over 318 affordable homes.
With 35 years now of working to address poverty issues through the creation of affordable housing in this community, CAHFH will continue to address the needs of families to enrich their lives and improve the standard of living in this community.
