Meet Mr. Fernando Vega! He is the Columbus Area Habitat for Humanity Restore manager. He’s been working at Habitat for 3 years now. What he enjoys most about Habitat is its mission. Making sure everything in the Restore is sold at the right price for families is something that is important to him, since all the revenue from the Restore goes right back into helping the community. One of his most memorable moments from working at Habitat was his first dedication, which is where they finish a house and pass the keys and give a Bible to the family who will be living there. He is originally from Miami, Florida and ended up in Columbus due to the Army. He graduated from Post University (Waterbury, CT) in 2016 with a Marketing degree. When he is not at Habitat you can find Fernando fishing, golfing, or spending time with his family.
Go visit Fernando at the Restore Tuesday 10 AM- 6 PM Wednesday-Friday 9 AM-6 PM or Saturday 9 AM-1PM! (Closed Sunday and Monday)
